No riding today because we had to trailer from Kakabeka Falls to Geraldton. We had to by pass Thunder Bay because of lack of trails. These pictures were taken from Highway 11 as we were traveling. The weather here at Geraldton has cooled down it is 12 degrees right now and it is expected to go down to -02 tonight.

Off Trail Riding

We made it safely back to Kababeka Falls this afternoon. The winding trails were very challenging. Some of us had a little trouble and had a chance to check the snow depth off the trail. We have had to double back and will be traveling to Geralton tomorrow.

Seine River near Atikokan

19 degrees when we left the White Otter Motel this morning. The scenery is spectacular and this view of the Seine River was one of the first things we came upon this morning. The town of Atikokan has been wonderful to all of us. We thank the Snow Ho Snowmobile Club for the guided tour today and taking us to their club house tonight for munchies and the $200.00 donation to the Diabetes Research.

As you can see this trip is not without risk and dangers. Every day is an extreme adventure to raise diabetes awareness, and to get out the message DRI and ADI needs our help to find a cure! Unfortunately everyone knows someone who is afflicted with this silent killer. These riders are braving the cold and inhospitable frozen wilderness to raise money for this important cause to find a cure, as they or their family members suffer from the disease. If these folks can give their time, financial support and time away from their daily schedules, could you please show YOUR support by donating just a dollar a day or a total of just twenty dollars to support their ride. Please click on the following web link to show your support. Click to DONATE NOW (You can select your favorite participant, the whole group or somebody you know who has Diabetes to donate on behalf of )
Thanks!
