19 degrees when we left the White Otter Motel this morning. The scenery is spectacular and this view of the Seine River was one of the first things we came upon this morning. The town of Atikokan has been wonderful to all of us. We thank the Snow Ho Snowmobile Club for the guided tour today and taking us to their club house tonight for munchies and the $200.00 donation to the Diabetes Research.

We built a fire and roasted Hot Dogs and Sausages for lunch. It was a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed lunch.

As you can see this trip is not without risk and dangers. Every day is an extreme adventure to raise diabetes awareness, and to get out the message DRI and ADI needs our help to find a cure! Unfortunately everyone knows someone who is afflicted with this silent killer. These riders are braving the cold and inhospitable frozen wilderness to raise money for this important cause to find a cure, as they or their family members suffer from the disease.
