The teams left this morning from Searchmont, Ontario on the D-trail heading for Wawa, Ontario. They will be stopping a a Canadian outpost at Halfway Haven to have lunch and fuel up. This ride is about 200 miles with no roads or anyway to get to them if they have problems. All the Support vehicle can do is wait for them to get to come out either end of the trail. The Canadian outpost at “Halfway Haven” is an outpost with its own generators, fuel and limited accomadations. We are having technical difficulties with a few of the satellite transponders (SPOTS) today, with only Jim Dickie, Bryon Pattullo, Duane Kurniski, Don Lipinski, Garry Randell and Support vehicle (chase one) reporting their positions.
