The youngest rider, Bryon Pattullo (Team 3) from Miami FL, George & Betty Pattullo’s grandson, was riding in the deep powder today with Georges snowmobile and hit a patch of ice and rolled the sled. According to Bryon he got thrown from the sled and landed on his feet (not injured), the sled then rolled, breaking the windshield, GPS and cracking the hood. After some duct tape and a new part from the local Ski-doo dealer, the sled is ready to go again.  Although Bryon has ridin snowmobiles most of his life and is  an accomplished  trick rider on jet-ski’s, he may have learned the difference between the two today.  He also had the GoPro HD helmet cam on at the time and below is the video. We have a layover day in Hearst today and the weather has not changed much for the past three days. We waited until noon to ride today and it had warmed up to 2 degrees F. The trails are all groomed and the people in Hearst are wonderful. We will be riding for the next 5 days and hope the weather warms up just a little. Thanks for all the messages from home. They mean a lot to each and everyone of us.
