This is the bridge that separates Hancock from Houghton in the Keweenaw Peninsula. We are all very excited to be seeing such beautiful country.

Under the bridge is a trail especially for snowmobilers to cross. Sometimes we can cross on the river but today it was slushy and didn’t look safe.

Trail to Brockway Mountain. The trail winds up and up and up – then up some more. They had to cut through rock in many places to make the road.

This feels like we have ridden to the top of the world. Very windy but we can see for miles. We are at the top of Brockway Mountain. Spending tonight and tomorrow at the Mariner Resort in beautiful Copper Harbor.
