Morning View

This is what we saw when we woke up this morning. Watching the sun come up over the mountains was a treat. Breakfast finished and we are on our sleds at 8:30 with the temps at 20 degrees.

Our Team

Hard to describe the beauty we are seeing today. Everything is going good for all the riders and smiles can be seen through the helmets. We traveled 111 miles today on perfect trails.

Betty Pattullo…..Betty drives a Ski-Doo and lives in Caro, MI and today is a very special day because she became a great-grandma today..for the second time..
She is one of the Alpha Chics that rode all the way from Michigan to Alaska in 2010..If anyone needs food or snacks on the trail we can count on her having her sled packed with goodies

Day 5

Had lunch at a remote restaurant on the trail where the help only spoke French. We are getting better at understanding what they are saying but what ever they bring us we eat and be happy. Here is half of our group lined up to start the afternoons adventure.

Snowmobile Trail

The farther East we get in Quebec the more mountains we are riding in. We rode in the mountains all afternoon and the scenery is spectacular. We left at 8:20 this morning and got to our destination at 4:00 this afternoon. 136 miles with light snow and 25 degrees.

Wildlife on the Trail

There have been Moose, Squirrels and Ptarmigan spotted on the trail.

Duane Kursinski… Duane is a charter member of MichCanSka and traveled in group 1 to Alaska. He has a vital part in our club as he is one of our crossing guards. This is a very important job as we cross major highways and he keeps us moving across safely. Duane rides a Ski-Doo and is always there to lend a helping hand where needed.
