Day 16

Planned route from Quebec City to La Tuque, QC on Monday, March 3rd, 2014

The sleds were ready to roll at 7:00 this morning. It wasn’t as cold as it has been..10 degrees but with the wind it feels like 0.. Good trails this morning and after 105 miles we stopped at a local snowmobile club for lunch. This afternoon we encountered many horses pulling sleighs.. We had to trailer this evening across the St. Lawrence Seaway and after a good nights sleep we will be ready to ride again tomorrow. In the morning we will start to head back North.

Safety is a major concern when traveling in such a large group. We have a crossing guard at all busy roads to make sure every snowmobiler makes it across the road safe. Thanks to Duane for the first half of the trip and Thanks to Ed for the second half……

Church Steeples

As we have traveled South in Quebec we have seen many old churches and the steeples can be seen many miles away.

Ralph Gordon….. Ralph lives in Ontario, Canada and drives a Yamaha.. He is a charter member of MichCanSka and has been on all the MichCanSka rides. Ralph is one of the top three people that have collected donations for Diabetes.. He is a great guy and fun to be with…..

Day 15

Planned route for Day 15, March 2nd, 2013

Woke up to very cold temps but not as windy as it was yesterday. We traveled South and West today leaving the Gaspe Peninsula behind us with lots of memories. No one will forget yesterday and riding the Cliffs.
We have traveled a total of 2073 miles with 8 more days of riding in Quebec.

Waterfall

Most of the day today was riding in farm fields. We came upon this stream in all its beauty.
