Flat Land

We have left the mountains and have been riding in the flat lands for the past couple of day. Lots of farm land and Maples. They have the Maple trees all tapped with pipeline systems going to the sugar bushes. Maple Syrup is big here in Quebec.

Scenery

Another look at Quebec.

Day 17

Planned route from La Tuque to Saint-Felicien, QC on Tuesday, March 4th, 2014

Day 16

Burr !!!!!!!! -3 degrees when we left Quebec City at 8:00 this morning.. Heading North-West today to La Tuque. 132 very chilly miles today. It warmed up to 2 degrees today but with the wind it felt like -20. The farther we go North the colder it is expected to be. Extra clothes are going on tomorrow so if we look like we have gained weight – we probably have. The food here is Quebec is very good..

Pete has to go back to work after 16 days on the trail. All good things must come to an end. Thanks for being a GREAT Trail Guide.. Pete is responsible for setting up our website.

Lunch Stop

We are having lunch today at a restaurant instead of a snowmobile club. The menu is always the same no matter where we eat. Hamburgers, Club Sandwiches, Veg. soup and French Fries with Gravy are the main items.

This is the scene on trail 73 between Riviere-a-Pierre and La Tuque
