Day 21…. Woke up to 6 fresh inches of snow and ready to complete our adventure…. 209 miles today and the temps are 18 degrees….The three weeks have gone by fast and we have had wonderful trails in Quebec but all good things must come to an end and everyone is ready to go home and see their loved ones and pets. Thanks everyone for following us….

Endless Beauty

Our morning started out much warmer than we have had for the past week. We have almost come full circle and we are still seeing beauty in Quebec.

Our Support Team

Carl Hompstead from Bay City, Michigan. Carl and Ken drive the chase vehicles that carry our gear and they are available if we have problems on the trail. They carry a satellite phone with them so we can be in contact. Several times on this trip they have come to our rescue.

Our other Driver

Ken Walters from Ontario, Canada

We arrived in Val D’or early today. The trails were perfect and we were able to make good time. 120 Miles and the temp is 18 degrees.

Don Lipinski…. Don sits on the Board of Directors of MichCanSka and loves to Snowmobile. He is a charter member and has been the sweep for all of our rides from Alaska to the Gaspe. Being the sweep means that he rides last and makes sure all riders are with the group. His moto is "No One Left Behind" and he takes his job very serious.

We left this morning at -32 degrees and traveled 28 miles for gas. Another 5 miles and stopped at a snowmobile club for snacks and to warm up. It had warmed up to -09 degrees. Nothing on the trail for the next 136 miles. We stopped at 1:00 and had lunch on the trail and it had warmed up to 15 degrees..
