Started out today and the temp. was -02……Very brisk but no wind…..
Left Christmas heading for Big Bay at 9:00 AM. Short day on the trails today only 108 miles. This is the view from Marquette Mountain of Marquette. The scenery today was breathtaking.

Lakemenland

This was a fun stop today.. A fire was burning to get warm and snacks were in the cupboard.

The World Tour has ridden together for the past three days and today we separated into two groups. The International group which consists of 7 riders will ride today in USA and leave tomorrow for Canada and then fly to Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Russia.
The USA group consists of 16 riders and will ride the next 11 days in Michigan.
Both groups are riding for Diabetes Research and will be collecting funds along the journey.
Anyone interested in helping our cause can donate on our web site (click here).
Please pray for safety for both groups and our cause.
Thanks – All the MichCanSka riders

Beauty in Paradise

Fresh snow has made todays ride absolutely beautiful.

Ski-Doo??????

We only had one issue on the trail today…Sandy who????? Lucky it was only a build up of ice on the heat exchangers and our crew quickly removed the build up and we were back on our way

We are West of Shingleton and have traveled 180 miles so far today. Time to take a break before the rest of our journey which will end up in Christmas.
My dear Son-in-Law has always said that if nuts and bolts were candy and nuts it would be Christmas every day….Can you imagine how fun it would be to live here and say you were in Christmas every day…
